How long has CMC been in business?

Central Masonry was started in 1983 and incorporated in 1986 to its present name.

Where is the business located?

We are located approximately 1 1/2 miles south-west of the C-470/Santa Fe Interchange at 8159 Brandon Drive, Littleton, CO, 80125. Our facility consists of an 8,000 sq. ft. building with 1 1/2 acres for outside storage (a picture is on the home page).

How many projects has CMC helped build?

Over 1,200 Commercial, Industrial, and Institutional projects.

What categories of work does CMC perform with its own forces?

CMC is a Commercial, Industrial, and Institutional masonry sub-contractor with up to 250 field personnel, 15 project foremen, 2 full time project managers, 2 full-time estimators, 2 full-time accountants, and 3 full-time shop services personnel to provide mechanical, welding, fabrication, and transportation support. We do Division IV masonry complete, brick, CMU, stone, pre-cast material, glass block, and glazed tile.

Do you work outside the Denver Metro area?

Yes, we do. The majority of our work is performed in the Denver Metro area, The Front Range, and in the Mountains. We have also contracted work in several states including Washington, Oregon, California, Wyoming, Kansas, and Arizona.

Is Central Masonry fully insured and able to bond projects?

Most definitely. CMC is professional sub-contractor. We carry Workers Comp, General Liability, and we are capable of bonding individual jobs with a limit of $7,000,000 per project and a $10,000,000 aggregate limit, with an extremely low bonding rate.

Do you guarantee your work?

We guarantee our work to comply with all applicable plans and specifications.

Will a product the Design Team specifies be incorporated into the wall system?

All specified products and materials will be included. The owner is paying for it and we guarantee that it will be there. We will submit product identity information and will not proceed until the design team has signed off with their approval.

What is the average size of your projects?

Our projects are primarily large Commercial, Industrial, Institutional projects or projects which are technically difficult with a contract range in size from $150,000 to $7,000,000. We have been ranked as the largest masonry contractor in Colorado most years since the mid 1980s. Our ability to perform these projects is due to our employees and to owning equipment which is readily available to use.

How much equipment do you have?

CMC is the very proud owner of 2 Terex cranes to 175' A.F.F., 1 Peterbilt tractor/trailer transport, 36 forklifts, 10 3/4-1 ton trucks, over 1 mile of scaffolding 100' tall, and many mixers and saws.

Do you perform Design Build estimates?

Absolutely. In addition to design build estimates, we also estimate hard-bid and negotiated projects.

How about Budget Analysis and Value Engineering?

Certainly. CMC has skilled and trained professionals on staff to assist you, or your design team, in reducing the cost of your masonry building without compromising the aesthetics or quality of the project.
